Gregg Paster is an attorney engaged in private practice since 1993. He has owned and operated his own law firm since 1993, managing up to 12 attorneys and support staff, and has operated Gregg F. Paster & Associates, a firm handling corporate, institutional and private client matters, since 2007.
Mr. Paster and his associates have extensive experience in government regulatory and compliance law, including municipal finance, planning, and environmental compliance issues, corporate transactions and litigation, real estate contract, private equity, commercial banking, transactional and litigation law. He has represented commercial and private equity lenders in various functions such as loan review and closing; litigation and regulatory matters. As general counsel to Melius Research LLC, a closely held equity research firm in Manhattan, Gregg is a non-voting board member, and advises the firm on its corporate, contract and personnel matters. He also spent 6 years as a prosecutor in Bergen County, New Jersey, in the Bergenfield municipal court. Gregg received a BA from Lehigh University in 1988 and a JD from Pace University School of Law in 1992. Gregg has sat on the boards of several 501(c)3 charitable organizations including, Marble Jam Kids, an autism support program, Guttenberg Arts, which supports aspiring artists, was a 2 time President of the Norsemen TD Club, a high school football booster club, and sat for 5 years as a Borough Councilmember, including 2 as Council President, in the Borough of Demarest, NJ.
