Bong June Kim, partner attorney of Kim & Bae, P.C., and Ray Lee, the CEO of Korean personal protective equipment clothing company, Shield 9, at the Norwood Police Station in New Jersey on May 29, 2020. Bong June Kim and Ray Lee donated $4,500 worth of personal protective equipment kits to the Norwood Police Station, in Norwood, NJ where they both reside.
These excellent disposable PPE kits, made by Shield 9, contain N95 masks, safety glasses, protective gowns, boot covers and nitrile gloves. The Shield 9 Personal Protective Kit is a level D grade PPE clothing set, also used by Gangnam’s St. Mary’s Hospital and the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The package is now CE and FDA approved and is ready for delivery to the US government.
Attorney Bong June Kim said that one of the reasons Korea has been so successful at overcoming the COVID-19 outbreak, is the excellent Korean personal protective equipment and the availability of PPE to the citizens.
Norwood’s Mayor, James Barsa, said today, “We are delighted to receive this donation of personal protective equipment to protect the police in our town during these difficult times. Unfortunately, Norwood was not spared by COVID-19, and we had our share of losses. Norwood’s police Captain, Perry Buongiorno, added, “It’s a dangerous situation for the police who strive to protect the health and safety of the town. I am very thankful that this kit will protect our policeman at any time at any location.”
